'TO-DO/TODAY' Altered Desk Calender

I have altered this desk calendar for 2012 FSFS DT Call (3rd Challenge: picture inspiration), my school's CCA Scrapbooking Club and also for B.A.T. (Business, Art & Technology) Term 2 project based assignment. I was also inspired by this Malaysian Counselor/Motivational speaker, Osman Affan's 'TO-DO/TODAY' pocket.

Monday, October 24, 2011

It has been awhile I have done anything creative lately except I did crocheted a couple of headbands for my girls. However, my mind is buzzing with endless creativity juice. My hands are really itching to scrap but the mood that driven me is not that intense compare to the previous year where I managed to create few LOs/projects every month ever since FSFS was formed. I feel a bit guilty to my fellow members for my lack of participation this year. And I am not even sure about next year if I can regain back the intense need to create. But there is a motto at  FSFS  we do practice, "One creation at a time..." and that's what I am going to do. I simply just create one LO/project at time to get my groove back and next thing I know I'll be creating non-stop just as long as more ideas popping in my mind.
For now, I'll be enjoying the rest of my maternity leave by spending quality time with my muses (my babies). Who knows, I might have the urge to create one or two projects before I resume working...

FSFS May 2011 challenge: Mother's Album

In the honor of Mother's Day, the challenge was:

  • Any size album (but preferably not bigger than 9x9 size).
  • It can be about your mother or yourself as a mother.
  • Embellishments: Lots of FLOWERS~~
  • Use at least 2 techniques (such as stamping, embossing, painting, tearing, etc).
  • Colour scheme: Red/Blue/Pink/Green/Purple

I made the "A Mother's Joy" mini album using one 12x12 cardstock only. I got the idea from Australian Scrapbook Creations Issue No.87 [Scrappin' with Kaisercraft: Technique Focus], Mother's love mini album by Trudi Harrison [pg.109]

Used up 12x12 Webster's Pages.

The front and back cover are the leftovers from a Prima Marketing PP from my the last crop party I attended last week.
